The city of San Carlos de Bariloche

San Carlos de Bariloche is located in the Cordillera de Los Andes, Argentina, in the northern part of Patagonia and belongs to the province of Rio Negro. For lunch every Wednesday and Sunday and is an unforgettable experience. The food begins to be prepared at 11 am which is cooked into a hole in the ground. Branches are added into the well and then are stones placed on the branches, which set fire and heat up the stones.

Short Circuit

This tour is a half day tour, roundtrip 65 km and you can do it by car or by bus. This pleasant drive starts in Bariloche and goes west along the southern shore of the Nahuel Huapi Lake. After 8 km you arrive at Playa Bonita where you have a wide view of Huemul Island. Cerro Campanario is 18 km away from town. There you can take a chair-lift to the summit to overlook lakes Nahuel Huapi and Moreno, Victioria Island, Llao Llao Hotel, San Pedro Peninsula, El Trebol lagoon and mountains such as Millaqueo, Lopez, Capilla, Goye, Bella Vista, Catedral and Otto.

Cerro Otto

The Cerro Otto is a mountain located in the Nahuel Huapi National Park, 5km fromthe city of Bariloche. It has a height of 1405. Seven Lake Tour

Isla Victoria and Arrayanes forest

Tourists can choose between two companies to make the trip: Cau Cau (catamarannewer and more expensive) and Turisur (historical ship "Modesta Victoria" and cheaper). Mount Tronador - Cascada Los Alerces

The tour heads south of Bariloche crossing 35km bording the lake Gutierrez and Mascardi. Deflected by a gravel road to the west. This route is taken across the bridge over the river Manso, along the western shore of Lake Mascardi. It passes in front of the "Cerro Emparedado" and borders the Upper Manso River up to Pampa Linda.
